Dinette removal on MLE for ?????

We have a 22mle, we never use the dinette. So pondering removing the dinette and possibly adding a chest of drawers or some additional storage. I am sure someone has done it, any pitfalls or suggestion for a low height dresser.

I'm already getting tired of my dinette but didn't want the recliners that came with these units (too cheap looking). So we're debating storage vs better seating.

It shouldn't be hard to do, just remember your water pump and some plumbing is under the rear dinette seat. You'll need to have a cabinet covering it, and be able to access the pump for winterizing and maintenance.

I don’t have the same model, but I removed my dinette out of my unit, as it was the most uncomfortable and bought a lighter more comfortable sofa bed…it was easy!

It shouldn't be to big of a job but as mentioned above, under the dinette bench beside the pantry is our water pump that would need to be covered someway and under the bench beside the door is the freshwater gravity fill. Both can easily be covered with an access trap.

My plan is to leave the Restroom side bench with the slide control and water pump in place. Good place to put on shoes and one spot for a guest to sit. Not to find a short dresser the correct length without spending a ton of money on a custom build
