Dometic Thermostat and Furnace

Finally got cold enough to use the furnace and found out it ain't working. The furnace kicks on when you set the temperature but once the furnace kicks off it won't restart unless you set the temperature higher. Any ideas?

Ya, probably wired backwards. Go on line and you may be able to figure it out.

Set the thermostat up to 72 last night and the furnace ran fine. Then I set it down to 70 and it ran through the night with no problem. It just doesn't seem to want to run when it is set in the 60's. Also, I notice that when the furnace starts up, it will fire for a couple of seconds then stop for about 5 seconds, the fire for the remainder of the cycle.
