I like it! The LED and length 5ft of the strip running across the back of the RV, and $36.
I bought one of those small square LED combo lights that fit into the rear hitch receiver and plugs into the rear light connector, but I like this LED strip idea much better, much more visibility and the addition of a back up light, that is if the RV manufacturer has a backup light wire running up to the 7 way plug.
Really no different than other owners adding vertical LED light strips to the back sides up high on their toy haulers. Or semi drivers adding lights all the way down the side of their trailers. Or pickup truck owners adding it under the tailgate of their truck, as some of the new trucks come from the factory that way.
LEOs rarely pick on RVers, unless they are doing something stupid, but If on that rare occasion of a Barney LEO stopping you, just unplug it to you get out their jurisdiction.
