Same problem here ADIRKS30. I am thinking it's the switch in the cabinet, several switchs are acting a bit dodgy. I have power to the outlet so switch seems plausible
My problem is resolved. I totally forgot about the second switch at the water heater itself. I was told about it in the PDI, it just totally slipped my mind when setting up. Thanks everyone.
My dealership did the PDI without us there. We just had a quick walk through of some general functions and were sent on our way. I am not happy with how our dealership handled things. I think they are the one and only reason behind the problems we have been having. I would have insisted on a complete walk through of every detail if they had not double booked for the deliveries that day. Our Solitude was sitting outside the garage hooked up to the truck and blocking traffic to and from the garage. They pretty much dismissed us and told us to leave. Pretty sad.
Well I suppose the official pdi by the dealer was before we got there. We had noticed a few things when we were looking at it on the lot. When we got there to pick it up, it was sitting all set up in thier shop, hooked to power, and they had everything running. We walked through it with a shop guy and he explained everything to us about this rig. We had another 5th wheel so we knew some of the things but he also helped alot! I looked it over as we walked around, so I would call that my perso al PDI.
When we got our fifth wheel over a year ago, it didn't work on both electric and gas- when I opened the cover on the outside, the two wiring harnesses were just hanging and not plugged in. Amazing what the proper flow of electrons can do!
