Empty Nesters

Our family of 7 (5 daughters) started RVing in 1985 with a 25' Aljo pull trailer. We later moved up to a 33' Wilderness 5th wheel. All of our children are now married and on their own. We've since retired so we decided to modernize and downsize. We settled on a new 2021 Grand Design 260RD. We've only had it out once for the "shakedown" run. So far-so good. Our grandsons 11 and 9 ride competitive motocross. Their parents have a toy hauler and we plan to have many trips to their races and just dry camping in the desert with them. Welcome to the life. Our flock got educated then they all moved far away. We spent a lot of time traveling to see them and the grandkids. One day we just looked at each other and asked "why do we have a house?" Sold it, bought a big 5th wheel. Now we make a circuit, FL - TN - TX - WA.
