Something to consider - read the fine print of the extended warranty very carefully, look for a statement like "any modifications to the RV will void this warranty". We purchased an extended warranty with the previous trailer (only one of 5 that we did, what were we thinking?) and when I saw that statement, I called the dealer to verify and cancelled it.
