I would like to get my new Solitude washed and I found a truck wash called Blue Beacon Truck Wash. The actual washing is done by hand by the people who work there. It says they use a mild soap and water. What I wanted to know was they offer different types of protectants to help with sun and paint. I was wondering if these would be safe to have applied to my Solitude. I would like to protect the finish but do not want to put anything on there that will harm the paint. They also offer an undercarriage wash, not sure how they do that but was wondering if that would also be something that would help preserve my Solitude. Thanks for your help.

Most automotive-style protectants can be used on RV's; however, since some products are application and surface-specific you'll want to check with Blue Beacon to see if the types of protectants they offer can be applied to all (fiberglass, glass, seals and sealants, aluminum, etc.) or just certain surfaces on your RV. Washing the undercarriage to remove dust, dirt and other road debris is recommended as part of your routine maintenance. To avoid forcing water inside the RV and possibly damaging component parts, please exercise extreme caution if using any type of pressure sprayer around the attachments, doors, windows, vents, etc. ~ Janice
