Fans interfere with antenna signal

Was wondering if anyone was having issues with over the air antenna service while the fantastic fan or bathroom fan is running. When the fans are off we have near perfect reception. When we turn either fan on, the picure on both TVs are lost completly or become very distorted. We dont have the propblem when plugged into cable.

I have not had that issue with our Reflection, but I have had the Antenna signal get blanked out when I turn on the Bedroom lights or sometimes the hall light. I have all LEDs though, so not standard bulbs.

Thanks for the replies. We have moved closer to a major city and we are getting more channels with better reception. The fan no longer interferes with the OTA signals.

We've had the same problem. When the bath fan is on or bedroom light, bath light, or you walk through the hall, the TV will blank out. Having Direct installed and now the sound bar has gone dead.

I'm a retired broadcast engineer. Digital OTA signals are basically there or not, as the signal gets weaker it can be drowned out by locally generated electrical noise. At the other location the electrical noise from the fans was stronger than the OTA signal.
