Fantastic Fan

I am about to install two fan, one (4000) in the bedroom and a 6600R in the kitchen. I've tested both and programmed the 6600, all appears to work as advertised. The only question I have is concerning the 6600. Is there a way to close the vent lid other than to pull the knob and turn it closed manually?

As long as the knob is engaged for normal operation, simply pressing the off button on the control will close the lid. When it is almost fully closed, the fan will stop. When you press the on button, the lid will partially open and the fan will start automatically.

Great, I just tried it and it works as you say. My instruction sheet was so grainy from having been copied so many times that it was pretty much useless.
