Well, our first 3 day orientation campout is in the books and we are super happy and excited for the next one.
I did everything right and didn't screw anything up and super happy. We did learn that we wanted to change a couple things, and there were a couple of oddities. I posted about the light in the bedroom register which I am still exploring....and things to change.....bathroom vanity faucet....my goodness, could they have put the water any closer to the edge??
Has anyone changed the bathroom faucet, and if so, is there a popular one that people like?
I also have another post about changing the shower faucet and that will also be another change......really, other than the learning of how to do things....it went well.

I don't believe it would have been as successful without all the help from this forum.

Glad things went well. AS for the bathroom sink. I was able to loosen mine and move it more to the center. Not great, but better.

LOLs Yup didn't screw anything up, I still think about that all the time when we move around. Glad you had a great first time out. It gets better, easier the more you go and you'll identify things to change to make it your own. The fun and adventures have just begun!!

Glad it worked out great. This place is awesome. Many have replaced the bathroom faucets. We will also later this spring. They are just regular faucets off the shelf at the hardware store.

Yes we have replace our faucet in the bathroom with one from Lowe's. Made by jacuzzi watch for the back of the sink mount. The faucet needs to be flat not bow out at the sink.

Replaced with one from Lowes. Any one with a gooseneck type spout will be a great improvement. About $30 - 40 will get you a good one. Easy plug and play replacement job. Takes about 15 min.

Same here, Home Depot / Lowe’s

That's great to hear Ray. Now you will relax a little more each trip.

And thank you for your service!

I’m planning on swapping out the bathroom sink faucet as well, I hate those short faucets!

Thanks. Any trouble getting the old one out.

Absolutely not. Disconnect the hot/cold supply lines then remove the 2 large nuts holding the faucet on. The factory didn't over-tighten anything.

Only difference would be if you have a different vanity cabinet and faucet is more difficult to get to. I think all supply lines have the same fittings now, so again, mine was a plug and play change out. Hope yours is that easy.

Your most welcome sir, and thanks for yours also....i have 24 years, 6 years Army as 68 Bravo, (turbine engines), then crossed over to Gunner/Crew Chief on UH-1's, then jumped over to AF as Fighter Crew Chief/Flight Chief[.

Loads of fun.

Thanks everyone on here that served in our great countrys military. 52 yrs ago I had just gotten back from basic at Lackland AFB. No tech school but I had OJT at USNAS New Orleans. 159th Civil Eng. Flight La. Air Guard. Stayed in for 6 yrs from 1969 to '75. My Dad was in the Army from 1940 to '45 when WW2 ended and was in the 2nd Armored Div. and was in North Africa and Europe. I still have my Grandfather's WW1 doughboy helmet and jacket that are a little over a hundred years old. Thanks again guys for your service no matter what branch you were in.

We replaced ours with this American Standard model. https://www.homedepot.com/p/America...aucet-in-Brushed-Nickel-7417201-295/312581884
It was a perfect fit and took about 20 minutes to install. We are so glad we did. It is much easier to use! Happy Camping!
