A new RVer in Oregon’s Willamette Valley is excited to join the Grand Design community, trading up from a Springdale to a 2025 Imagine 2800BH. They’re seeking honest feedback from fellow 2800BH owners about favorite features, layout changes, must-have modifications, and any regretted upgrades. Hello everyone,

My wife and I are thrilled to be joining the Grand Design family! We pick up our new 2025 Imagine 2800BH tomorrow (August 8th) and we can't wait.

We're trading in our 2016 Springdale 282BHWE. Our RV journey started with an older 19-foot trailer, and while we thought the Springdale was a big upgrade, we were ultimately left wanting more in the quality department. Based on our walkthrough, we're very excited and hopeful that the Grand Design will be the quality build we've been looking for.

We are located in Oregon's Willamette Valley and plan to take our first shakedown trip around August 21st.

For other 2800BH owners out there, I'd love to get your honest feedback. I'm not easily spooked (the last trailer provided plenty of "learning opportunities"), so I appreciate any and all thoughts!

  • What are your favorite things about the 2800BH?
  • Is there anything you would change about the layout or design?
  • What are your "must-have" modifications or additions?
  • Are there any mods you've made that you ended up disliking?
Thanks in advance for the input. Hope to see you out on the road! - Chuck

Highly recommend Riverbend campground on the South Santiam. The County acquired the land about 15 years ago. They built it into a really nice campground. Level asphalt slabs, water, power and on site dump. Plenty of good, clean water. Concrete slab under the picnic table with fire pit on the edge and lots of reprod trees between the sites. We stay there a couple of times every year.
