We upgraded our F350 to one that has a puck system (2017) and upgraded our Super Glide to one that fits into the pucks. The dealer installed it this spring and we went to re-install it for the first time (I know, surgeries have kept us from camping since spring) and I can’t get the handles to lock into place. One of the locking handles hits the “center plate” between the two handles. Is there a logical reason for this? Suggestions?

On our adapter rail that we use between our pucks and our Demco w/std rail connect has adjustable height for each foot so that we can ensure puck lock at each foot. Might want to ensure that each foot is long enough to engage, and that the hitch is flush on all four puck mounts prior to locking it down.

Mine sticks once in a while, make sure seated property and All 4 are flush. Try pushing down on the bolt head as you are trying to lock it. Makes it go in square. You may have to adjust the bolts if that doesn't work.

Remove the handle that you're having problems with. Take the cotter pin out and back the height adjustment nut off a quarter turn. Replace the cotter pin. The little bit of additional height will give you a some play to get the handle past the center plate.

Here is the picture showing how it hits the center divider.

I tried moving the locking pins to different locations which made it better.

Finally, I simply wiggled the pins a bit that seem to resolve the issues.

Thanks Guys
