Forum talk on warranty for solitude

A question was raised that if you full time in your solitude it will void your Grand Design RV LLC limited warranty? Could you clear this up for folks as per the difference with your extended stay Rv and Full Time warranty. Common Sense would say that it is NOT a full time Rig. Some have been told that you could not put residential or full time living because it would be a mobile home. Is there such a thing as a true Full Time living warranty? Thanks for the assistance!

Hi @cuttinchief,

Grand Design products are engineered and built to accommodate extended stay living. Full-time living does not void the warranty; however, wear items (furniture, upholstery, flooring, etc.) that have deteriorated or failed due to extremely heavy use (i.e., full-time living) are not covered under the provisions of our limited warranty.

Best regards,

I would think furniture should last at least 1 year though. Any furniture purchased for a stick residence is expected to last at least 1 year.
