The skirt on the back of my 2017 Reflection 5th wheel has always had a bulge in the metal. It appeared to have something solid behind the metal pushing out. I should have never accepted the trailer in this condition when I purchased it new in 2016 but I did. Through the years it became an issue with me and finally after returning from our Fall trip this year I decided to remove the skirt and look behind it to see why this was happening. To my surprise the wall of the trailer is not sitting in proper alignment with the floor!! When constructed they apparently got it mounted off center and I was viewing over one inch of the vinyl floor beyond the wall!! I sawed off the protruding flooring and now the skirt fits perfectly behind the molding on the back ball and there is no more bulge.

This further proves that RV's are pushed across the assembly line with little quality control.

Some time ago, I don't remember where, i read that an RV is built to about 80%, then the dealer and new owner need to finish it.
with that said, good you got r taken care of and hopefully no major issues created by the defect.
