Freezing temps, cold bedroom, and the warm cat

Recently I have noticed that our bedroom has not been staying very warm. I started to look for blockages in our furnace system. Of course I started at the source and traced the ducts to the bedroom. I couldn't find the blockage.

It took me several days to finally find the problem.



She found her warm spot, just snuggle up to the vent...

Our bedroom vent is in the floor. Had the same problem.... found the cat sleeping on top of it. She didn't care much for being pushed off of it. I "showed" her the bathroom vent and now she sleeps in front of it instead... most of the time.
