Looking for suggestions on best procedure to store fridge between trips. We always propped the doors open during storage with our last camper to prevent mold and mildew but that isn’t possible with the slide configuration of our new model.
After our first trip we towel dried the fridge and freezer and placed containers with baking soda in each. Does anyone have better suggestions?

Thanks, that may work for the freezer but the fridge closes right to the kitchen island when the slide is in. I don’t think you could insert a piece of paper between them.

Ours is also very tight, and we use a desiccant when it's in storage more than a couple months. So far it has worked out okay, but it would be nice to be able to leave the doors open.

How you are doing it works best for us for the last 4 years. We go thru our "in" storage check list and ensure we remove all moisture, clean the entire fridge inside and out, insert a new boxes of baking soda and leave the doors propped open. Our "out" storage check list is to close/secure fridge doors during travel. We tried the plastic fridge card props and they caused us to overlook the doors being open during travel once and that caused them to fling open... luckily no damage from that mistake!

Now just leaving them wide open sticks out when we enter after storage and helps reminds us to close before travel. We also have plenty of room to leave them open while the slides are in too....

Maybe use Damprid to absorb any moisture while closed in storage might work if you cant leave them opened?

Thanks everyone, I think I will try the desiccant as it is reusable. For longer storage we’ll probably use the baking soda.
