Looking for some advice/suggestions. The front bay door cam lock tab (see photo) does not engage the lower edge of the door opening edge enough to stay closed/locked. You can easily pull it open when locked and most travel days it has popped open (fortunately the thumb locks on either side stay engaged) From the tab edge to center of the screw head is a tad over 1 3/8"

Does anyone know if you can replace the tab on the back of the lock with a longer version? Or has anyone had this same issue and found another solution?

Thanks in advance

I had the same problem but with my thumb latch. I had to fabricate an extension:

Call a cabinet supplier, they may have the length you're looking for. You could order a new cam lock with a key other than the 751 (I think that's the number) that's been used for years.

Good idea too, thanks!
I had some 1/2" or so angle steel, so I attached it where the lock will engage it. far stronger than the aluminum it was using before. A butter knife could easily open it the way it was.
