I have a 2014 reflection 303 RLS, I used the TV this past week on on Wednesday Thursday and Friday, and on Saturday morning it would not display anything, all I got was a black screen. Has anyone else experienced issues with the 32 inch. Flat panel TV going black. Unfortunately the TV is out of warranty (only one year) but are still interested to see if anyone else had success getting it working.

Yes I get power, with indicator light and speakers work when tuned to a channel it was previously on.

We had a set that did about the same thing. When I hit the front with a flashlight at an angle, I could tell there was a picture but no backlight. Took it apart and a connector had come off of a circuit board. Plugged it in and it was fixed. I haven't been into one of the Furrions, but it might be worth checking that.

I believe that some have two separate backlight systems. I have one now (a Naxa) that is only half as bright as it was before, almost exactly - so I figure half of the lights/LED's on the backlight aren't working. I'm taking it apart this weekend to see if I can fix that.

I'm crossing my fingers hoping that our crap Haier TV will fail, then I can go out and get a nice Samsung 40" for $339 at Best Buy that will fit perfectly and is a real quality TV with multiple inputs and outputs :) Please break, please break, please break :)

LOL Poppy , I wonder how many out there are hoping for their TVs to fail

I'm in the process of setting up my new Satellite TV system and I was looking on my TV for how I was going to connect everything (I have a Sony Blu-ray and a Samsung Soundbar) and there just isn't enough ports on the Haier. I wanted to run both the Blu-ray player and the Cable box to the TV and then the TV to the Soundbar but no go. So then I looked at connecting the cable box to the sound bar and that won't work either. I'll get it figured out but getting the new Samsung I want would resolve everything. Deb is just getting a little full of all the money I am spending lately :) Now, if the Haier would break .......

I decided to compromise with Deb. I've removed the Haier and mounted it in the spare BR and took the JVC from the spare BR and mounting it in the RV. The JVC is a couple inches bigger, which is no big deal, but more importantly it has multiple HDMI inputs and outputs and a optical connector. Now I can connect all my devices and my soundbar and my over the air TV can also come through the soundbar which it couldn't before.

If it dose not fail soon. I will make sure it fails. Not spending another year camping with the stock TV.

Well, I took it apart and it appears that there are three separately powered sets of LED's that backlight the LCD, and are attached to the back of the LCD. I suspect they are interleaved, so right now only every third LED is working.

All of the connectors were good, and nothing was burned on any of the boards. There appeared to be + and - to each of the three sets of wires on the connector that runs to the LEDs. I worked on taking the back of the LCD apart, but it was more work than I wanted to put into it. It had to be something broken or burned out in there. That one is going to the dumpster.

Our 32" Furrion in our
2015 Reflection 303RLS did the same thing after about 6 months, the dealer replaced it with new one, we will see how this one works.
