Furrion DV7200 Speaker Blutooth issues

Thanks! I appreciate all advice! Will start looking for another option.

Here are a few forum tips you might find useful:

1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.

3) You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

We have the same radio in our 2022 2500RL. We have sound playing from the TV via an audio cable running from the TV to the back of the radio. The one down side to this setup is our dimming lights cause some buzzing in the speakers when not on 100%, can only be heard when there is no sound coming from the TV/Radio so we live with it

For music, we use an Alexa speaker connected via bluetooth. Connection was very easy, press the BT button, start pairing on the Alexa device and after just a couple of seconds, it's done

No the sound is not great, in fact it's pretty bad but that is another issue

Have never been able to get the Android App to do anything after being connected so we don't use it

Good luck and keep us posted

I don’t even own a Grand Design, but I had to post my solution for others experiencing issues with their Furrion 7200. (Hey, my parents own a GD Momentum, let me stay!!)

I own a 2021 Keystone Hideout with a Furrion 7200 and found this thread while troubleshooting my own connection issues. I’ve seen two stupidly simple reasons why it won’t connect to, say, a brand-new smart TV that it has been connected to just fine for over a year, or my iPhone 15… both of the following issues have accounted for 100% of my connection issues so far.

Reason 1: you’ve got crap in the way. Make sure there is NOTHING between the TV and the Furrion 7200 main unit/panel. I make the mistake of leaving my big leather tote on the counter every other trip or so and spend a good 5 minutes cussing at everything before realizing it’s me; I'm the problem here; I’m dumb. Move the bag, try to reconnect, and boom! Connected.

Reason 2: you’ve got electronics plugged in between the TV and the unit/panel that interfere. I had an extension cord plugged in with USB outlets, one of which was in use. The moment I unplugged it, voilà! It worked.

I think it’s just got a pathetically weak BT sensor. While the RV itself is mid-grade, all the attached equipment is pretty garbo. Like, the Disney+ button on my LG smart TV remote changes the temperature of my electric heater.

Keep *everything* out of the area circled in the photo below:

Hope this helps!!

Thanks, jennfir, we're happy to have you visit our forum, even if you own a different brand. And especially thanks for posting your experience with the stereo, that's a problem that vexes quite a few of our members.
