My Furrion "entertainment" unit (DV-3100) just went silent.
It quit while the radio was playing.
No sound from any speakers.
No sound from Radio, TV, DVD or CD modes.

I tried the reset button several times but no change

Any hints on how to get behind the unit to check connections?

Mike :(

Hi Mike, our '14 337 has the DV1200 (actually it has had a dv100, dv1100, & dv1200) in it. GD accidently sent me the dv3100 one time to replace (difference is yours has 2 speaker zones, ours has 3). I believe it was the same as ours as far as mounting. You just need to pry the black trim ring around radio off. There is 4 screws to take the whole radio unit out. Ours just has 2 multi wire plugs and the antenna wire on the back. Hope this helps, but as i'm on the fourth Furrion in ours I wouldn't be surprised if the unit just took a dive on you. Not good in my opinion.
If still under warranty call GD if can't get it to work. They will send replacement right to you so you don't have to wait for dealer to have an opening in their schedule.

Hi Mike (gr8daggett),

To remove the DV-3100, carefully pull the black plastic faceplate located on the bottom half of the stereo off, and as @Scott and Jan advised you'll then have access to the 4 screws that hold it in place. Unscrew them, and carefully lift the stereo forward towards you (taking care not to damage or pull the wiring located on the back side of the stereo). If you have further questions, please contact our Customer Support at (574) 825-9679.

Best regards,
~ Janice

Hi
Did all of that. No obvious wires loose.
Everything seems to be hooked up.

Still no sound.

Hi Mike (@gr8daggett),

If the connections appear to be hooked up and no obvious wires loose, but you still have no sound and you have checked all the troubleshooting information listed on page 33 of your Furrion DV-3100 Instruction Manual then you may want to contact your dealer for a service appointment. Your dealer can also order a replacement part (if needed), for you.

~ Most Furrion manuals can be downloaded from their website. If needed, here is a link to the Furrion DV-3100 webpage: http://furrion.com/product/dv3000/entertainment-system-3/

Best regards,
~ Janice
