I have had the factory installed solar going on 3 years now-
I have had a usually solid green light on my controller when I have checked…
My battery died after a long off grid use, and cloudy weather- which i know is not great for the lead acids…
We recharged it and put it back on- and i did not even check on the controller- but then found a dead battery again and a red light on my controller…
I bought a new lithium battery- and seems I read the controller does not go into solid green float mode with the lithiums…
We recharged the lead acid to 3/4 to test the controller- as I can not get a green light again on it- solid or blinking…
Multimeter shows things are wired correctly- battery voltage the same coming in as direct off the battery-
Same with the solar panel- 20 V…
No light on the controller other than the battery type.
Reset by holding the battery selection- and all lights will flash so the led is not burned out…
Is there any fuse inside the controller- or does this mean it is just dead and I should buy a new one?
