We have a 2021 Grand Design Transcend Xplor 240ML. On our last trip last fall, after setting up camp, we discovered our refrigerator quit working. It is a Furrion 8 Cu. Ft. 12V Built In Refrigerator. We aren't sure but suspect the fuse has been blown. We also have been told that the fuse is behind the refrigerator so we will have to pull it out as it is not accessible. Any suggestions as to what kind of fuse is needed and any helpful hints before we attempt to fix it.

Have you checked the manual for the fridge (included in your paperwork packet that came with the RV)? If you can't find it, the PDF version can be downloaded from the Lippert web site using the fridge model number. If you can't get it worked out yourself, Lippert customer support is very responsive and helpful.

We have the same unit as you and we're having issues with the frig not cooling when disconnected from shore power. Can you give an update on what you found out on your issue? Thanks

I had this once. Feared it was the fuse. Turned out I'd flipped the stupid battery disconnect in the basement. Happened again last week. On my next stop at Home Depot, I'm going to buy a dryer vent cage to install around the thing. And, when I get home, I'm going to have my son help me pull the fridge and install an extender on that fridge fuse so that I can reach it from the front.

Ours didn't work at all. It was a blown fuse located behind the refrigerator. Which means they have to remove the refrigerator in order to get to it. Apparently, this has been a common problem. We have it in the shop now and they suggested putting an easy to get to breaker below the refrigerator so that we can reset it in case this happens again. It took approximately 2 hours.

Thanks for the info!

2022 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS with FCR16DCASA-SS refrigerator. Purchased 5th wheel 08/2022 and taken out once. Stored in enclosed garage and connected to electrical power. Went out one day to discover the refrigerator was not working. It was not working because there was no power to it. Everything else working fine. Checked all fuses. Checked 12v battery voltage. All good. Called Furrion for troubleshooting assistance. Discovered the fuses for the refrigerator are on the top of the refrigerator, in the back, and inaccessible without removing the refrigerator. The customer service rep I spoke with did not know this, by-the-way. I removed the refrigerator, which was “fairly” straight forward and easy. Removed the top panel and discovered two fuses that had a nuclear meltdown. Inserted two new 30-amp fuses and power restored to the unit. Although removal of the refrigerator was fairly straightforward, there is too much potential for causing damage removing/installing. Figured I’d modify it in case the fuses blow again.

Would be nice if one could get those pigtails with a standard ATO male end then it would be a simple plug and play!

Agree. I just used male connectors and plugged them in to the fuse females on the circuit card.
