Just this trip (a couple weeks old) the TV has started making loud popping sounds when I turn it on. We don't have anything plugged into it, and the sound system is off. Any Ideas? We are in a 2014 Reflection 303. Thanks

Ours quit after 5 weeks bought a Samsung at Costco -no further problems. I eagerly gave it away to the first person who wanted it-bye-bye

Are you saying that the TV is generating a popping noise whilst powered off? I think you are saying that the TV is making popping noises when nothing is being shown on the screen. Is the popping noise coming from the Furrion Audio system? Thanks.

If it is the TV making the popping noise, I'm willing to bet you have a loose connection to the internal TV speaker.

Sorry I wasn't clear. The audio system is off. As I turn on the TV only, both prior to a picture coming on and during, there are loud popping noises coming from the TV. So you are probably correct about the internal speaker on the tv has a loose connection. Think that's a warranty issue?

It's probably a 1 year warranty on the TV. That also may not be through Grand Design. I'm not sure on that, but I think it would be through the TV manufacturer. If your TV is anything like the one in my 2016 308BHTS (TCL 32"), then it may be just less hassle to replace it and move on.

I would contact GD either way to see what they say. If you are going to get a new one, there are a lot of options. Vizio and Samsung have been excellent choices for me in the past.

One thing I would advise to troubleshoot is to go into the tv menu and literally disable to TV speakers. See if the static continues. If you decide to replace, look on the bright side, you could use it for a patio TV or something.
