Furrion water heater not working

Bought a brand new 2024 Imagine 2670mk in November from a dealership, they had winterized it. Bring it home and get everything situated before taking out. Took out last weekend and have no hot water. It is a furrion tankless heater. I have tried several solutions I found online and none have worked. I was getting an E5 code so blew out the exhaust tube as suggested, nothing. There are bypass valves behind the heater and both were perpendicular to the lines, usually means blocking the flow. I opened both and heard water flow for a second. Thinking this was the problem, and feeling rather stupid, I turn on hot water. No error code, yay!...still no hot water. Water heater is not kicking on exhaust, no attempt at ignition either. Yes, the switch on the heater is in the on position. I am at a loss here!

Sorry to ask the obvious, but is gas available to the unit?

Assuming it was working before you brought the coach home from the dealer. Did the dealer say anything about their procedure for winterizing?

I don't know how to check if there is gas going to it. Gas is going to furnace and stove so I would assume so. Dealership had sticker on door stating it was winterized, including antifreeze and water filtration bypass. It took me a bit to figure out I don't have a filtration system, which lead me to the water heater bypass valves. When I turn on hot water, there are no sounds at all coming from the unit.

Sounds frustrating. When I did my pre-delivery walk-through, the tankless water heater in my unit wasn't functioning. That was on the dealer to get it going. They never told me what the issue was, but it has worked well ever since.

The one on the unit is on, panel is also on.

Is the battery disconnect switch in the "On" position? Do you have a multimeter to check and see that you're actually getting 12VDC to the control board on the HWH?

I know you have a lot on your plate right now, but here are a few tips to help with posting on the forum:

1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.

3) You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

Note: you'll need to have a paid subscription to add an image to your signature.

Thank you for the info. I will check when I get home.

Have you checked water pressure? The on demand hot water heaters monitor flow to start the heating process. If not enough pressure or flow the heater won’t ignite.

I you look at the picture on page 115 of your owners manual, the tankless water heater bypass valves MUST be kept in the Normal position, which is with the handles turned towards the water heater which appears to be perpendicular to the lines. But this position is actually directing cold water to the heater and hot water away from the heater. Just the opposite of what is displayed for the 6 gallon (Tanked) Water Heater. My guess is you have bypassed your Tankless Water Heater.

When my 2022 3100RD was new, a like issue happened. It was the control board, got a new one off Amazon. Easy install. If the by pass line is not closed the heater wont fill and gas and electric wont come on. Just a thought.

Update: voltage good everywhere. Voltage spikes by ~3.5 volts when fan is supposed to come on, fan doesn't come on. Talked to a technician via phone, he said bad fan, not serviceable. Guess warranty is replacing water heater.
