NHTSA Recall No. 23V-455

Grease fittings on the axle may have not been tighten properly. Work has to be done by a Certified Repair Tech, not necessary a Grand Design Dealer.

Good Luck.

Had the grease zerts "Tighten" today by a local service here at the house. Removed center cap the rim, removed rubber cover on the dust cap, and tighten the zert to 95 in-lbs.

Three out of the four zerts were loose and required to be torqued.

Also, doubled checked the lugs on the four wheels.

Just came back from the Missouri Big Muddy GD Rally, GD SRT techs said under no circumstance use these zero fittings EVER. Possibility of blowing out seal and contaminating brakes, requiring total rebuild/replace. Not covered

Not sure I understand what the reference is to "zero fittings". Are you referencing the EZ Lube system grease zerks?

No way can GD make that statement of not being covered as those zerks are OEM. Grease zerts where tightened GD specifications, NOT REPLACED.
