After returning for a trip to Nebraska, knowing that we would be leaving again for Memorial Day weekend, I decided to just leave the refrigerator loaded, plug into shore power, and be ready to go. When I'm parked for several days, I usually turn off my 12 volt switch. We had storm pass through that knocked out the power for a brief period of time. I never thought about my frig not restarting. If I had left the 12 volt on, the gas would have kicked in. The long/short is, we lost everything in the frig. In the future, if the frig is loaded, the 12 volt will be on. Just thought this might keep someone else from having the same problem. Happy Memorial Day to all.

We always leave ours plugged in at home, with the 12 volt on just in case. Fridge and a/c on.
This is good advice that I'm sure will help somebody, thanks for the tip.
And Happy Memorial Day too!

Another thing to keep in the back of your mind during these type of 'lay-overs' is to make sure that the propane bottles (yes that is with an 's', both of them with a auto change-over) are turned on. If the shore power goes out for some reason and the propane is turned off the fridge (at least mine) will revert to 12vdc. This will run down a coach battery fairly quick if not being charged with the tow vehicle or converter.

For all who served, thank you!
Mike
