Generator Issue?

My generator doesn't seem to be charging the battery, I am sure it is something I am missing, any ideas?

A few answered questions may help point to the solution. Are all the 120V applications working in the camper when the generator is running? How do you know it's not charging the batteries? Do the batteries charge when on shorepower?
