Hello,
I have some recreational property that I'd like to move one of my RV's out to.
There is currently no septic, and I'm not too concerned about black water pumping because there is a service that will do it.
However, gray water can fill up the tank pretty quickly, so I am considering my best options for releasing it onto the property.
I do have a steep to gradual slope in my favor, that would run about 100 feet and then eventually level out somewhat into about a 1/4 acre field of native grasses and flowers.
I would prefer to use just a garden hose adapter as the transport hose since I've already got one that long and something I can also drive over if necessary.
I don't mind using biodegradable soap, but I'm still a little concerned about "junk" mixed in the water (food particles from sink, hair from shower, etc.)
...Do I have options for filtering this out; I'm picturing a screen trap in some apparatus that I can remove and throw away separately from time to time.
Maybe if I go full time out there I'd look into something more elaborate, but for now, just something that's cheap and will work might do.
In addition, I'm also wondering what I might be able to use to "spread out" the gray water to different parts of that 1/4 acre field.
I mean, I guess I can just move the hose around each time I release it or if I keep my gray water drain open, I can move the hose around every so often ...but is there maybe something else I could consider?
Thanks!
