Howdy from Prescott Valley, Az. Lifelong camper with many units come and gone. On December 23rd we bought a hardly used 2017 Imagine 2150RB that we immediately took out and spent Christmas in the RV at Dead Horse State Park. This is the largest, newest, nicest RV we've ever had so getting used to it. We've had it out on 2 other weekend trips and after 500 miles of towing I'm not happy with how the Titan tows it so after not finding any 3/4 ton trucks available we ordered a '21 Sierra 2500HD 6.6 gas thinking we'll probably go a bit bigger in a couple of years. Plan is to start traveling the USA with longer trips this year and next year do some month long trips after the boss retires. Glad to be here. Jeff

Congrats! Welcome aboard!

Not to be pedantic...well ok, being pedantic....you are in central Arizona. Our previous domicile, Page...now THAT was northern AZ!

DHR is one of our favorite camping spots, we will be there Memorial weekend on our way to Colorado. We will take the Verde Valley train as well, one of the nicest train rides you can take, second only to Durango IMHO.

Welcome to the GD family.

Len and Norma, now of Vail, AZ

Ok you got me. People not living in Az seem to think Phoenix is central and anything north is... north so it's just easier. Camp Verde actually has a plaque proclaiming itself as the exact center of Az! We lived in Cottonwood for 13 years before PV so well acquainted with the area. Never rode the Verde Canyon RR. Going on 3 years here PV is a bit colder that we think we want to deal with long term and we've been checking out areas around Tucson.

Just remembered we went to a balloon festival in 2005 our first year in Az and saw a balloon catch fire and crash. We were sitting on the bluffs on the edge of Page looking down at the old golf course where the balloons launched. That was a bad deal.

We lived on the 14th green...real nice view. Sold our houseboat business and 90% timed for two years. Decided to leave the cold, came down to choice between Cottonwood or Vail (AZ), so here we are!
