Could someone from GDRV give a rundown on the Grey tanks?

Quantity? Capacity? Number of dump valves? Are they connected? Are they separate? Certain models have one, two,or three tanks? Why do we have one dump valve in the front of the coach, and one under the chassis in the rear? Those of us with rear kitchen setups, is the sink connected to a tank? Does this change per model year?

There are at lest 2 threads in various places on this forum, and all seem to pertain to the same, or some of the questions from above.

Thank You

Our 323bhs rear kitchen sink has a dedicated dump valve in the rear. The sink does not drain into a tank. So I plan on running it into a hose connection to a t into sewer on full connection site

Hi Brady & Steph,

Rear termination is for the outside kitchen.

Best regards,

Janice,
Is this a "NO" to the sink being connected to a tank?
So why so secret with the plumbing layout? What about the other 7 questions in the post?

I still don't understand. We have 302Re with two grey tank pulls but another pull under the rear of chassis. What's it for?

thank you that's what it was went to the manual and there it was thanks again

that would definitely happened Thanks Just bought it and haven't taken it out yet. That helps

Is it normal to have to pull the rear tank valve to get the front grey tank to 'breathe' and empty all the way out? We did not use the outdoor kitchen on our 308BHTS last trip (goes to rear tank) but when I went to empty the front grey tank it would not drain without having both grey valves open. I didn't know if this was normal and if I should plan on pulling both valves each time we dump?

Thanks!

Not sure the answer to your question but I do like your idea of mounting a billboard on the top of your trailer to help pay for gas ! Does that automatically fold down when you go under bridges ? ;)

James, I read Mckee family post three times trying to figure out your billboard comment, couldn't figure out what you were talking about. Then I looked over at their avatar picture...thats funny, but not a bad idea. :) have to turn it sideways for better aerodynamics.

Now that is funny! I could not figure out what you were talking about either for a few moments! I will have to update my photo after our next outing. We are going for one night on the 18th.

Yeah, I caught it when I enlarged your avatar to see what your truck with trailer attached looks like. I have a white 2013 platinum Screw and have a 313rlts on order. But seriously, always on the lookout for new ways to pay the bills !!!!

I cant speak for all the models but can for the 323 BHS.

Outdoor kitchen does not go to a tank, its not hard to bend over and see a drain pipe that traverses the RV and comes out on the other side with a cap, no valve. I'm not intending on using that drain an awful lot so I'm not plumbing it into the sewer. I already spoke with the proprietor of our seasonal camp site and he said I can just get a cap, tap a hose connection into it, then do the same with the lid on a 5 gal bucket and use a short piece of hose with a small vent in the bucket. Like I said, I'm not intending on using that drain. The water supply yes and any drain water will be just coincidental from using the faucet.

Two grey water tanks, one for the bathroom and one for the sink in the kitchen island.
