Hi all,

We were camping in our 398M last weekend and while sitting on the Happi Jack, I felt something pop and I sunk. A little later a second pop and sunk some more. I unzipped the zipper on the seat portion of the Happi Jack and was dumfounded to find that the seat suspension seems to consist of the plastic shipping banding that you find on heavy boxes. Similar to this link. https://www.amazon.com/Heavy-Duty-P...91939299&s=industrial&sr=1-6&ts_id=8553249011

I'm 6'4" and about 270lbs, so certainly not a small guy, but I just can't imagine that it couldn't support that degree of weight.

Now, my rig is still under warranty and I haven't yet talked to the dealer, but was curious if anyone else has run into this.

Thanks.

I’m new to group so just seeing this. I have same condition on our new to us 397. Were you able to repair? Any suggestions on repair?

Fortunately, since it was under warranty the dealer replaced the entire seat. The new one seems to be holding up fine. If it weren't under warranty, I'd probably dig into it further.

Sorry I'm not much help.
