Have You Ever Hit Your Head On The Bedroom Slide?

We're still waiting on delivery of our 337, but after looking at pictures every day for the last five weeks, I have a question. The bedroom slide looks to be just the right height to smack your head into it if you're distracted or it's dark.

Once a year, we attend a music festival for five nights, and our RVs are packed in like sardines. I'm concerned that somebody could walk by the rig in the dark and hit their head. Since it's dry camping, we don't normally leave outside lights on.

Have any of you had a close call, or even suffered a "hit"?

I got 2 pieces of black tubing insulation from Home Depot that is used for plumbing lines. Cut in half, put one horizontal & one vertical on each end of the slide.

A lot of people also just use swim noodles instead!!!!!

That's what we use on our Solitude!

That is also the reason that GD put the two blue LED lights on the underside of the bedroom slides.

Use the toggle switch in the hook up center, and turn them on!

My husband is 6'4" and bald and hits his head on things a lot. Of course the bedroom slide got him. We picked up a pool noodle at the Sarasota Walmart this week.

I also use the noodles...and leave the blue lights on. So far no hit heads!
