When I turn my heater on it makes a lot of noise and not hot air is coming out of the vents . burner is cycling on and off blowing hot air out of the vent on the outside.

I'm not familiar w/that model - 315rst. Typo for 317RST?

It sounds like the ductwork off the furnace may have come loose.
If it's a fifth wheel, you may be able to check it by pulling off the back wall in your pass-thru storage compartment
or by pulling out a cabinet drawer inside that may be located near your furnace.

Just guessing here......

I pulled the heater ducts off the back of the heater their seems to be sufficient air flow I turned the heater on and the burner kept going off and on I am wondering if it is a propane problem

Hi @Digger1,

Please add your 17-digit RV VIN to the "About Me" section in your forum profile, or send me a private message (PM) with your name, phone number, and 17-digit RV VIN. Thank you in advance, as that information will help us research your concern.

Best regards,
~ Janice

Please also see the post in this section "Loud Furnace". Is that similar to your problem? If so its another version of a problem that others of us are experiencing. I hope GD comes up with an answer to this issue.

Our 337 has that cycling issue when propane tank is too low to properly vaporize, especially in temperatures under 20 degrees F. I only run one tank open to give me a warning I need to refill a tank (or two). The duct that fed our bedroom was not properly attached on delivery, duct tape had pulled off. Underbelly storage area and kitchen hutch got really hot. I secured it with two self-tapping screws, needed to drill holes first, steel in ducts is quite strong.
