;) We just placed a order on Friday for a new 2016 Reflection 313 RLTS TT! We have owned many different RV's over the past 25 years but this will be our first GD. The dealer already had this unit on order for stock, we added all the options and it is supposed to come off the line May 6th. He said that he should have it the week of the 11th. So we don't have a long wait. I am having the Dealer add quite a few more options after he receives the unit that I wasn't able to get from GD. We are planning to break it in on Memorial day weekend. Once again hello to everyone!

Congratulations on your new TT! Best wishes for a successful shakedown cruise. Post some pictures from your first outing.

Jim

What options are you having your dealer add? We had our 313 RLTS for two weeks now. Very comfy.

;) Here's the list so far? 1. Replace two roof vents with FanTastic deluxe auto vents. 2. Install two group 27 deep cycle batteries. 3. Install three slide out toppers. 4. Install Furrion 24" LED HD TV in bedroom. 5. Install Progressive surge and voltage protector. 6. Apply ECO-RV PRO Protectant package. Inside and outside. 7. I am upgrading wheels and tires to 16" 14 ply Goodyear G614 tires and HD high spec aluminum wheels. Having them shipped to Dealer and they are swapping them out. 8. Install Furrion observation - backup camera. I think that's all for the Dealer? When I get her home, then I will start on the mods that I want to do. As the ole say'in goes, "A cowboys work is never done!"

We are considering the slide toppers ourselves. What are they going to run you? I've done something similar to #1 and 2 and am working on #7 (changing out the China made tires). I'm also looking at the rear camera deal but I want to add one to my truck also. It's just money. lol

Can you let us know how well the Furrion observation - backup camera works, I have been considering installing on our 337.
Thanks

Just curious, Do the Travel trailers come ready to accept 16" tires or is the dealer lifting it so they don't rub ? Welcome to the group!

I was wondering the same thing . . . I know that I can't put 16" wheels and tires on my 303 originally equipped with 15". Rumour has it that new 303s will be built with suspension that will allow upgrade to 16", even if 15" are original spec.

;) I am installing Carefree slide topper 3 with the cover and everything in black to match the main awning. Installed they are going to be about $2600.00 for the three of them. Not cheap, but I wouldn't have one without them.

;) I have researched the height of the change and it is going to reduce my clearance 1.2". This will leave me with 3" of clearance, which is the amount of travel that the eqa-flex suspension has. It will be close. I have the option of putting the same width tire on in 16" and that will only reduce my clearance by .5". I really want the 14 ply tire, the same width tire is still only a 10 ply tire although it is a American made LT Bridgestone.

;) Jim and Bonnie; I will be glad to let you know what I think, it will be Memorial day before I get my trailer though.

I know this is not a direct comparison, but the 303RLS 5th wheel is supposed to have 4" clearance (per GD) unloaded. I measured mine at about 4" on the right side and about 3.5" on the heavier left side. Loaded (and we travel as light as possible) drops each side about half an inch. So static, ready to travel, clearances are about 3.5" and 3". Others with this same rig have found that they needed to make suspension modifications to be able to change from 15" wheels and tires to 16" wheels and tires (choosing tires with an increased outside diameter of about 1.5" to 2") to prevent contact between the tire and the body.

Just something to think about . . .
Rob

Thanks For The Warm Welcome!

;) We just want to thank everyone for all the warm welcomes! I hope to become a regular on this forum, lots of good info. I read quite a bit on here before we decided on the GD. Once again Thank You All!

Welcom Duke 316 to our happy family! I think you have already figured out you can find answers to about any questions here. Have you guys thought about trying to get to the little mini get together at Anchor Down cg in Tennessee??? Would love to meet you there. I think right now we have about 16-17 rigs. Should be a fun time!

;) Hey Sandi, thanks for the welcome and invitation! We are going to be at Gatlinburg Memorial day for our shakedown trip. We have stayed all over the Smokies, but never at Douglas Lake. When is your little mini get together going to be? Are ya'll staying in one particular section in the campground?
