Looking forward to being a participant in this forum. I am currently in the market for a Momentum TH. I currently have a Bristol Bay Fifth Wheel and an Okanagan Truck Camper and want to get down to just one RV. The wife has her heart set on one from Grand Design and I have to say that I do too. We live in Central Louisiana and love to make trips to Fort Wilderness at Orlando, FL. That is the reason for a TH, to get the golf cart there and back home.

Howdy neighbor! Nice to see a fellow Louisianian on the forums :)
Good luck on your search for a TH. The Momentum is certainly a gorgeous and well built RV.

Hi Specularius (and Renee too). Ginnie and I lived in LA many years ago. We married in New Orleans in 1975. We're going to be back this September for a visit and to get some jambalaya and beignets! Who knows, maybe we can meet up and have a cold beverage together.

Hi Specularius. I love my Momentum and I purchased it for the same reason. I am picking up my golf cart on monday to go into my Momentum. We are going to Fort Wilderness in late August 2015 for 3 weeks. Looking to stay far back in the loops now that I have the golf cart.

Welcom to the forums. There is a wealth of information here and a group of people willing to help.

Welcome to the forum Specularius! You will find lots of helpful information on this forum. We are currently on our second trip with our Solitude 369RL at Gulf Shores, AL It has done nothing but rain, lightning and high winds for 4 days. All I can say is we have been snug as a bug in our RV!! No leaks, no shaking, no outages--nothing but comfort!! We heard a story the other day of a camper with a brand new unit (another brand!) who the seam around the complete roof area had not been sealed properly and the whole unit was leaking everywhere. Thank goodness we bought Grand Design! We are more than pleased with our choice!
Good luck and happy camping!

Renee, I see you have listed "Central, Louisiana". Is that the City of Central, or the center of the state, Central? I live just outside of Alexandria, so we could be very close "Neighbors".

Hi Sandi and Allen. We plan on being in Gulf Shores in the next couple of weeks. I'm sorry you had bad weather. It's our first big trip since purchasing in Feb. I'm just happy to finally be it, so if it rains...it rains.

Get out of here! We got our Solitude at Primeaux's...if you go down there shopping ask for Mike Cecil. He's a really nice guy. When last we were down that way, they had the Momentum 355 on their lot. Really beautiful rig.

I have talked to Mike. My wife and I spent two hours sitting in the 355TH and had our mind made up but then I found out about the 380TH. We keep on and we might just find out we are related!

Doyle and Joy

Well the sun was shining beautifully yesterday so of course we hit the beach!!!
Just wanted to let you know--we were taking a different route back to Lake Osprey RV resort yesterday and I was just looking around as we traveled. I yelled at my hubby to stop and back up--and low and behold we found a new campground that is just under construction! We went back to look around and ran into the resident campers. This place is beautiful already and is going to be even more so when finished. We went ahead and made reservations for all of March 2015. They only had 4 spots left already!!! Check out their website, which still seems to be under construction somewhat, at www.sugarsandsrvresort.com. It is very close to the Foley-Gulf Shore Expressway. It might be a place you would be interested in for your next trip!
