Hello from Outdoors RV Resort Palm Springs

Hello ALL,

We recently purchased a used 2019 372 WB Solitude located in the resort and have spent a few days getting set up. We live in Washington State and plan to be here only seasonally. The rig was registered in Oregon, we decided to register here in California. We are required to have the vin verified by someone licensed with the state, but the vin sticker is completely unreadable as it has faded in the sun down here. Trying to get a new one from GD or have a State Patrol officer come and provide a new vin.

Headed home soon, we'll see if we can get this done before leaving.

We are new to Grand Design and like the layout and extra room. Our last fifth wheel was a Outdoors RV Glacier Peak 28'. Actually still have it but it's for sale.

I'm sure this forum will be helpful and we look forward to contributing as well.

There should be a 2nd VIN sticker on the edge of the main door or screen door, it's yellow. It won't have the weight capacities, but it should have a VIN.

I think I am well on my way to resolving the vin sticker fading problem. :)

[MENTION=55100]LoCat 23[/MENTION] - GDRV generates replacement VIN stickers. The factory service center replaces walls and damaged rigs for all kinds of reasons. If the area "impacted" (both literally and figuratively lol) is where a VIN sticker is affixed, a new one has to be generated and put on. We (and others) have had this done when our exterior walls were replaced in 2018.

Call GDRV Customer Service if you still need/want a new one to learn more and see what they can do for you.
