Hello All,

My wife and I recently purchased a 2024 Grand Design 2970RL. We've taken it on a few trips and have really enjoyed the camping lifestyle.

We're thankful for this forum and look forward to contributing!

Welcome to the forum, that coach has a great floor plan. Happy camping!

Although we are not new to the RV life we are new to this forum as well. We have a 2022 Reflection 280RS. I have already picked up some valuable information just reading through some of the post on different subjects.

However, I do have one question if someone can help. I have noticed that on some of the post the person has the make, model of their RV and truck, where do I go to fill in this info so it will show when I post? I have tried signature under my profile but that didn't work.

Apparently newbies are limited to one line on their signature. Don't know when that goes away and you get your three lines. What I found bizarre is that my account was already established and I have no recollection of ever signing up as I've never owned a GD product before. And I certainly wouldn't have chosen this ridiculous name. It seems I can't change it until the end of January.

Yes, new members are limited to a one-line signature.

On the username issue, please reach out to the Helpdesk to get your username changed, we moderators can't do that.

Thank you! Did you guys have any favorite campgrounds in SC that you'd recommend?
If you were asking us, you can use the reply buttonon the right of the post and it inserts a quote . We haave stayed at a couple State parks one was Santee (it has 2 campgrounds) the mmore modern one was nice. The other was quite tight and more rustic. Great if you boat and fish. Anyplace in the western hills is nice. We have driven through many but stay at a small Private park with no trees but a nice mountain view. due to it's location to my brothers house near Pumpkintown. With somewhat easy mountain access to NC to visit Hendersonville, Brevard or Asheville areas

It all depends what you're looking for. If you want something more resort-y (and very pricey) Hilton Head Nation RV Park in Bluffton is, by far, the nicest place that we've stayed. A very good restaurant on-site, large concrete sites with beautiful landscaping between them, the pool and lazy river are unmatched, walk to the golf course (if one of the work campers doesn't pick you up first) 2.5 miles of on-site walking paths.....and the bathhouse/laundry!!!!!! It looks like they swiped six bathrooms from the Ritz, clean them four times a day. Going back for two months this winter!!

Thanks for the recommendations! Our neighbors frequent Santee state park often and they love it. It's on our list of campgrounds to visit :) Happy camping!
