How tough was the pull up Abiquiu Hill? Have you ever visited the weavers shop in Tierra Amarilla? If not it is worth a visit.

Other than the 35 mph and 45 mph sharp turns you have to slow down for, it was great. Took about 2:45 minutes from Albuquerque to set up and got right at 11.5 mph. I have not been to the weavers shop but it is supposed to be very good. It was really different setting up in pitch black. No moon, no lights, nobody. Just a few kayakers on the lake the next day then they took off. Only person we talked to was a real friendly ranger that stopped by to chat.

Nice, have to add that to my list of South West destinations! We're in Tucson right now at Catalina State Park. First time and we love it. Hovering around 80 today and beautiful.
