Can anyone recommend a cover that will fit a B&W Companion hitch? Thanks.
They are a joy to remove and install aren't they? Not exactly a lightweight. I use a chainfall in my garage to lift it.Ram puck system, the base is much larger than both Ford and Chevy. I don’t leave my hitch in the truck when we are not using it, so the cover is mainly for storage.
I do the same - chain fall from the garage rafters. It is true that you can’t order the 5th wheel puck system with Ram Boxes. I just ordered the kit and installed myself. Of course, that means I have to use a Sidewinder pin box on the trailer. They are a joy to remove and install aren't they? Not exactly a lightweight. I use a chainfall in my garage to lift it.
When I bought my truck they said you cannot order a Ram Box with the 5th wheel prep. Looks like you managed to get it done.
Thanks, I saw this one online. Was wondering how well it stayed on at highway speed.Personally, I found it difficult to find a cover that fit the way I thought is should. Below is a link to the cover that I have on the hitch right now (sitting under the trailer). Because I have the B&W Copanion with Ram puck system, the base is much larger than both Ford and Chevy. I don’t leave my hitch in the truck when we are not using it, so the cover is mainly for storage. Not exactly sure I would recommend this cover, but it was relatively inexpensive and does stay in place going down the highway.
Thanks. I'll check this out. Looks like it might work for me.I use the Classic Industries part # 80-116-010401-00 on my Chevy puck mounted unit. covers the entire hitch and base. Fits tight and stays that way even at highway speed.
