I want to haul two fat tire e-bikes and wondering what the best hitch receiver is for the back of the trailer.

Use the search feature
There are countless threads about this

Keep in mind any modifications made to the frame voids the warranty

I put my bikes inside or in the back of my truck

I did use the search feature first but didn't find the answer to my question. It's very common for people to haul bikes and thought there would be a common/recommended hitch receiver for this purpose.

Personally I'd look into a bike rack that mounts to the A frame in front. It will provide a better ride for the bikes and not add stress to the rear frame as a bouncing bike rack would.

Why isn't there anyone from Grand Design that will answer my question? This isn't an unusual circumstance. There are thousands of RVr's who also carry bikes and want to know from the manufacturer what they recommend.

Huh???
There is no connection between this forum and the manufacturer if you thought there was

Grand Design will never give advice or recommendations to modify anything on your trailer
The liability they would face makes it impossible

We purchased the Rockland 200lb bike rack from Amazon - $159. This rack works great and holds large size tires. We also use the rack with our truck just to take the bikes to a park. Just FYI, do not rely on the bar to hold the bikes on. I strap the bikes down tightly.

Don't know what tow vehicle you have, but I put a 2 inch receiver hitch on the front of my 2024 Ram 2500 for our ebikes that works great.

We have a 2021 2600RB and I wouldn’t hang anything more than the spare tire on the rear bumper.
I agree with put them in the bed of the truck.
Rich

We have a 22MLE and 2 Rad e-bikes (heavy) on the back bumper using these:
bumper supports - https://amzn.to/4hV02VB and hitch receiver - Amazon.com We've towed all over the US and never a problem. I also use a ratchet strap from the bike rack to the bumper to reduce bounce.

I can't comment on a recommendation for a bike rake but I am not sure why people are commenting on modifications to the frame or weight on the bumper. The 2023 GD Imagine comes with a 300lb hitch receiver. The OP is just talking about using a bike rack with the installed hitch receiver unless I am misreading something here.

Because in their original post they said they are looking for a “hitch receiver”. Not a bike carrier
