Maybe I'm finding out something everyone else already new...... but with my Ram 2500 the back seat middle headrest is low, about 2" higher that the top of the seat. its about 12" wide and as I look in my rear view mirror I can line it up perfectly with the kingpin which is about the same width. Was thinking of a small hitch camera set up..... but this works perfectly. I get within about 6 inches...get out....raise or lower the kingpin to the right height...then back up and connect.... works like a charm. Like I said....maybe everyone with a Ram or similar set up already does this..... but its the small things in life that make me smile....

I took the center headrest out altogether, and line up the holes with the pinbox.

I have been using my Ram center headrest as a guide for several years. As you say, it works perfect.

Good suggestions I am always off to one side due to parallax with the rear window. Tahoe trekker where do you dry camp at June Lake. I go to glass creek - great place

We just camped at Oh Ridge campground this time around.......right above June Lake...... has water nearby and a dump station on the way out. We have campd further south at Alabama hills...but that was prior to the new 303.
