Yes you could use those for fishing poles, they have the same doors on the curb side of the trailer too. I bought these from a tanker truck builder. They are thin wall Aluminum Tubes, cast aluminum doors. I used U Bolts and Drilled in the bottom of the frame, they are 76" long
