So we are going to go camping/bicycle riding next week and have been getting the camper ready. So I turn on the fridge to let it start cooling down, because my wife wants to start loading it later today or tomorrow morning. So I turned the power on and then walked outside and removed the lower cover to feel the two compressors and make sure that they were running. Oh, did I forget to mention that I had the JC Refrigeration Twin Compressor mod done to it in May 2022?....oops
Anyway, turn on time was right a 1:15 this afternoon and I'm getting ready to do some grass cutting, but thought I'd check it before I started. So at 1:43 (28 minutes later), the freezer section is showing 32.3°F. So in basically in 1/2 hour of time, it went from 83°F down to 32°F. I love that JC Refrigeration mod....and as much as I love it, maybe this info will help others who may be on the fence about having something like that done to their absorption fridge that just can't seem to keep even temperatures and low enough temperatures.
