Time to see the daughter in Georgia again and am planning to take I 40 across to Memphis then angle down through Birmingham to Atlanta. Last time out a year ago major construction in Oklahoma City. Is it complete yet?

Also headed east through Memphis from I 40 to I 22 toward Birmingham. Whats the best route through / around Memphis?

Last good quick overnight stop near Memphis - simple, safe, clean.

Thanks

No one here live near Oklahoma City?

The ODOT web page show construction on I 40 and the south bypass loop I 240

So do I stay on I40 through town or take I 240?

Anyone from Memphis. Do I take the I 24 loop south and the grab 78 which appear to run into I22.

Or get on 55 south and the head east on I 269?

Thanks in advance

OKC will forever be under construction. Even when done, pulling an RV down I-40 will still be a rodeo. Just slow down, stay on it, and suffer. Taking I-240 around won't be much faster in the long run.
