Imagine 22RBE One side of the slider is not responding.

To start, check the slide controller for an error message.. you can also check all the connections there to make sure all is good. Unplug power for a hard reset for a few minutes to see if there is a reset. if no change, switch the connectors for the right and left side of the slide at the controller. if the problem switches sides, it is most likely a bad controller. If the problems stays the same, either a bad motor or wiring harness. If you suspect a controller and it is a schwintek slide I purchased one of THESE from Amazon for $40 and it works better than the $300 stock one.

Good luck,
Brian

yes you can do that. They will operate in sync if all is good.
Control may be reversed but doable. It is how RV techs check them.

Constant problem with our 22MLS. I reset the controller to un-sync the motors. I found that I need to be real level and full power from shore power or tow vehicle. It always works fine when I take it in for this problem. Got stuck on in a RV park once and the mobile repair guy and I had to use my bottle jack and 4x4 to lift the binding side of the slide out. Seems to be a frequent problem with GD slides…..GD in this case doesn’t mean Grand Design😁
