Our Imagine 22MLE has a spray port on the passenger side to connect a hose to. I've used it in the past but suddenly the hose will not connect. I push it in but it won't click in place. My husband says "just buy a new hose" but I'm wondering if it's the connector port. Does anyone have any experience with this problem and can give us tips?

Sometimes the hose can be difficult to connect if the water pressure is high. Also a little lubrication is always a good thing on moving parts so a quick shot of silicone spray might help.

Thanks! After I posted I found another thread on this same issue (couldn't find it before!) and those were two things that helped = relieve the water pressure, shot of silicone spray AND work the connection with a screwdriver a few times. That fixed it! Still not easy, but I can get it connected now.

As @DougW9876 says...you really do have to alleviate the pressure first by turning off the spigot or water pump then open the kitchen or other faucet. Then try again. If it is still difficult, try a little dielectric grease on the o'ring.

If it still doesn't work, welcome to the club; these things are super frustrating. I plan to remove mine and replace with garden hose fittings with shut off valves.

On my 17MKE the fitting is bad. It worked for one trip and now it still snaps in but no flow. The same hose works fine on the other port in the pass through. I’ll replace it one of these days.
