Want to install a coat hook plate with attached hooks to the exterior wall in the bedroom. What's the best way to secure it, wall anchors or just screws? And how long a screw can I get away with? Are there aluminum studs I should be looking for? It needs to be sturdy.
Thanks
Below is a pic of the hanger, its about 2 feet long.

I would put it where you want and then drill small holes to see what is there. If you hit a stud then use a sheet metal or similar screw. If no studs then I would use a molly bolt (pic below.) Just be very careful to not let it spin as you are tightening it.

We installed one in our 337RLS, about 3' long just used a HD 2" or 2 1/2" wide velcro strip. It's been there for 16 months now, never moved. We've had up to 8 towels hanging on it, but not while traveling, which I believe would be fine too.

Paul--GDRV Customer Care team can help you identify where wall studs are located. David Hilliker (Regional Service Manager) helped me. I want to install a similar rack but need to clarify some measurements yet specific to my earlier build 303.
