We have a 2022 2600RB unit purchased new. We have a continual issue with both interior doors coming disconnected from the post and rail they are suspended from. I have had it back to the dealership for repairs on two occasions. They told me this is not a warranty item so I have incurred an expense each time. The dealer repair shop indicated they had fixed the problem, yet both doors became dislodged on the very next trip we took. I have been able to make temporary repairs that held up during my return trip. I again contacted the service department at the dealer and they indicated this issue is a design flaw and should be addressed by Grand Design directly there is nothing more they can do.
After discussing this issue with GD customer service, they requested we provide the service records showing the work done by the repair shop so they can review this information with their technical department. After doing this, Grand Design recommendation was that I go back to the repair shop and "have them look at it again they have no recommended repair for this complaint." What a run around!
We had a 2016 2600RB and did not have this issue. I see that the 2019 did. Has anyone come up with a permanent fix for this issue? I have a few ideas but would like to hear from other people.

I did a post on how to adjust the latching mechanism so that it doesn't open and the door doesn't bounce off the pin. I'll have to see if I can find it. But if you haven't looked yet to see exactly how it works up there, take a look. The top of the door has hardware that includes a latch. The pin hangs from rollers on which the door hangs. If that latch freely swing open and closed, then that's your problem. You just bend the latch down enough so that it's more difficult to get closed and open so it remains securely latched in place. I need a screwdriver or other tool to pull the latch open (after I made the adjustment). You'll want to check each of them.

Now I say all that assuming that the hardware isn't separating from the door or something like that. If all the hardware appears to be intact, then it's likely just a simple latch adjustment.
