Interior motion light at stairs

My little motion sensor lights at the stairs to the bedroom in my Solitude seems to randomly go on and off when there is no motion. Is this a problem with all of them or do I have a bad light?

Seems you have the special ghost sensor version.

There aren't any jackets or anything hanging nearby? I know the ones in my storage bay are pretty sensitive. They'll pick me up walking about 6 feet away away from the opening.

Ours does the same thing but only at night. I think it is the thermostat, It lights up when a/c or heat comes on and it is close to the light. Now that OurNewEra mentioned ghosts I will
rethink my decision LOL.

I have a 380FL, so I have two of these lights. One installed at each of the stairs (into the living room and into the bedroom). When I would get out of bed, I would activate the one on the bedroom stairs (sliding barn door). But then one night, the living room stair one would come on, time out, and right back on. Then the bedroom one started down the same thing. I have since put tape over the motion sensors…. And they still come on. So now I have the sensors taped and covered the lights themselves with tape. Been to lazy to pull the fixtures out of the walls and disconnect them.

How did you turn off the motion part please? It’s certainly not clear on how to do that on my momentum 381-m. Thanks (sorry for the ignorant question)

Mine has a switch on the light 1 line is for switched o off and 2 lines turns on motion light if I remember correctly

A little off subject but I’d like to know if anyone has a source for the motion sensing led puck replacement lights for areas where I’d like auto-on, like in the closet and such.
