I am new to this 5th wheel world. My RV is a 2021 Solitude 310 GK. Please excuse my lack of technical use in this question. In April of this year, I replaced the lead batteries for 2 lithium batteries. Additionally, the tech suggested I replace the converter and inverter. Which I did. Everything new in this area.
Today, I noticed the Remote Inverter light was on, I'm connected to shore power 50AMP. So I opened the cabinet, pushed the remote button to turn it off, but it stayed on.
So, I went down and turnered the shore power off. Both remained running, Turned the battery disconnect off, unplugged both inverter and convert, they remained on. I went and disconnected the batteries. Everything went off, no fans running, no displays on.
Waited 10 minutes, reconnected batteries, both turned back on. Plugged both back in, turned shore power back on, pushed remote inverter on/off button. But did not shut off.
Can the new inverter and converter be bad in less than 120days? I have only neen connected to shore power since May 8th.

Not sure why the old inverter/converter is still connected. I would ask the person that put the new in that question.

Hello ... I installed the new inverter and converter. Less than 75 days ago. It was in late April - May time frame. It's all new. Worked perfectly until just recently.

You may know this already, but on my inverter, I have to press and hold the switch for about 2 seconds for it to turn of or on

If the converter or the inverter is hot enough for the cooling fans to come on, they may not turn off until the unit is cool enough to not call for them to be on. I believe the fans are powered from the batteries.

the original converter should be disconnected. That could inject some weird problems such as you are currently experiencing

Hello, I replaced both, the converter and Inverter at the same time. Batteries, inverter, converter all changed same day. In May of this year. Brand new lithium batteries.
